Welcome to the Solemar homepage.
Thank you for your interest in learning the Italian language and getting to know our culture.
Italian Language courses: Our Language School in Sicily has been running successfully for more than 22 years, offering certified Italian courses in a friendly atmosphere at competitive prices. As Sicily enjoys a pleasant climate all year round, you can combine a relaxing beach holiday and a stunning cultural experience any time you choose.
Holiday accomodation: We offer a wide selection of newly decorated holiday homes and apartments whether or not you choose to participate in one of our language, cookery, photography or other courses. Our guests in the fishing village of Aspra stay in truly stunning holiday houses overlooking the sea, in a small bay about 15 km from Palermo. If you wish to study at our school in Cefalù, you can either stay in our gorgeous traditional Sicilian-style apartments, or with Sicilian host families, or in a comfortable sea side hotel equipped with excellent tourist facilities.
Family holidays and childcare: If you have young children, we are able to offer a fully qualified baby-sitting service during language classes through our affiliated Italian baby nursery. We can also offer special language classes suitable for children.
In order to distinguish our school from less serious language course organisations, you may enquire at your nearest Italian Cultural Center who will provide you with all the information you require. References from former students who attended our courses can also be provided.
If you are interested in our courses you can apply by sending us the application form at least 3 weeks before the beginning of the course. Otherwise, contact us directly to make sure that there are vacancies. After receiving your application form we will send you precise information about how to reach the school and any other information you require. We are already looking forward to welcoming you!
With our best wishes from sunny Sicily.
