The Casa Alba apartment is located on the 2nd and 3rd floors of a recently renovated, typical Sicilian building in a quiet side street in Santa Flavia. Casa Alba is just two minutes from the train station and surrounded by hospitable Sicilian neighbours. Here, you can immerse yourself in the life of a Sicilian village.
The entrance leads into a bright kitchen-diner with a fully equipped kitchenette, a dining table, a sofa and a smart TV. From here, double glass doors open onto the balcony, which runs the entire length and width of the flat and is furnished with a table and two chairs. Adjacent to this is the bedroom with a double bed and a walk-in wardrobe.
From the kitchen, a staircase leads to the next floor, where there is a shower room and a roof terrace that extends across the entire length of the roof and offers a view of the sea. A dining table with four chairs, a small table with cocktail chairs and a barbecue invite you to relax and enjoy yourself.
The apartment is equipped with air conditioning and central heating.
Santa Flavia – A hidden treasure on the outskirts of Palermo
Off the tourist routes but worthy of any guide book, this quintessentially Sicilian little town is an undiscovered jewel. A quiet, well maintained residential neighbourhood served by a railway station in the centre of town, Santa Flavia is the ideal base for those who want to discover the real Sicily without renting a car.
In twenty minutes you can be in historic Palermo, and within an hour you can be running your toes through the fine golden sand of one of the most beautiful beaches on the whole island, in Cefalù.
In lively and welcoming Santa Flavia, everything you need is close at hand. The smell of fresh bread and coffee is everywhere throughout the day, and for fruit and vegetables you don’t even have to leave your house – experience the timeless charm of buying succulent, locally grown produce from grocers who weave through the streets and alleys of town bringing their delicious fare direct to your door.
With its sister town of Porticello, Santa Flavia forms the second largest fishing port in Sicily. Every day you can try your hand at preparing a new fish dish with the most freshly caught fare money can buy. If you’re not an expert in the kitchen, the town is packed with wonderful fish restaurants to cater to every palate.
Up the mountain in the morning with an unforgettable sea view, lunch and siesta in your holiday letting, to the beach in the afternoon and to the new trendy pizzeria in town in the evening.
These routes are perfect for a bike – or rather for the right bike like the one in the photo above. Because you can even get up the mountain on one – and you don’t have to be an athlete to do so.

So it fits perfectly that the local company Sicula Bike rents out bicycles to guests of this holiday letting.
On this page you will find information about the bike and here is a list of the accessories supplied and the prices. Sicula Bike would like your bike to accompany you throughout the holiday. The minimum hire period is therefore 7 days.
