Holiday letting Casa Stellina is a new addition to our offers. This house presents itself as particularly authentic as it was a former residence of a fishermen’s family. It is located in the second row of houses behind the port of Porticello, which not only offers unforgettable impressions of the fishing culture of Sicily, but is also the second largest fishing port in Sicily. Here you have all the restaurants, grocery stores, the fish market and evening entertainment right around the corner.
The apartment has a partial sea and harbor views from the rooms, from the roof terrace you have a beautiful view of the rooftops Porticello and the sea. The central heating, the bright rooms and the lovely furnishings make Casa Stellina interesting for winter stays as well.
The house is very tastefully decorated and houses many antique furniture, especially the original marble floors are a real eye-catcher. Each floor has a balcony or terrace, the top floor has a very nice roof terrace with sunshades, sophisticated lighting and furniture for relaxing hours in the sun. In the evening, however, you have restaurants and bars right outside the door and is right in the middle of the action.
The village´s beaches are approx. 500 m away and the train station in Santa Flavia (800 m) with direct connection to Palermo and Cefalu or to the airport is within walking distance, there are traditional shopping opportunities directly in front of the door (traveling dealers) or at the supermarket, fruit and vegetable stores, pharmacists and at the bakery just around the corner. The location is undoubtedly a key benefit of this structure.
By the way: The Casa Stellina, like all offers from Solemar-Sicilia, belongs to the association “ADDIOPIZZO” and is thus one of the area’s anti-mafia accommodations.
