The property offers offers five distinctive bedrooms, each of which has an en-suite bathroom.
- On the ground floor, ‘Jolanda’ is fitted with a fully-equipped kitchenette and is adapted for the needs of guests with disabilities.
- On the first floor, ‘Giuseppina’ has a sea-view balcony. The slightly smaller ‘Venera’ offers a view of the village.
- Finally, the second floor contains ‘Annamaria’, with a magnificent sea-view terrace, and ‘Rosina’, looking onto the village.
More than a simple hotel feeling, the rooms here are more like studio apartments. All have a double bed with orthopedic mattress, and all except ‘Venera’ have a double sofa bed. As well as the en-suite bathroom with a hair dryer and welcome kit, you’ll find a table and chairs, terrace or balcony. Both air conditioning and heating are available as standard in all rooms, as is Wi-Fi internet.
Porticello is an excellent base from which to explore the nearby town of Bagheria. Known as the city of villas, you can visit the fascinating Villa Cattolica – home to the Guttuso Museum – and Villa Palagonia – the famous villa of monsters! Guests will have no problem arriving by public transport, with the nearest train station, Santa Flavia, just 1km from the property’s front door. From here you can reach the vibrant and eternally fascinating city of Palermo in 20 minutes, or travel east along the coast to discover the picture-perfect beach resort of Cefalù (50 minutes away).
