Solemar Sicilia’s very own Casa Tulipano is located in Mongerbino, a fishing village on the unspoilt coast between the small towns of Aspra and Santa Flavia. Despite its natural beauty and convenience, this lovely area, overlooking the spectacular Gulf of Palermo, has remained mercifully untouched by the throngs of mass-market tourism.

The property is just 400m from the nearest public beach. If you want to soak up the sun in a more private setting, you can enjoy the large terraced garden. Nor do you even need to forsake a sea view – Casa Tulipano is blessed with a magnificent view of the entire beautiful bay.

The Mongerbino area is characterised by a breathtaking landscape, where natural colours dazzle with a remarkable energy. Several excellent diving centres close at hand offer training and excursions to the nearby marine reserve. And only a stone’s throw from your front door is the picturesque Monte Catalfano nature reserve, an ideal setting for hikes and outings against some of the most photogenic scenery around.

The home has private off-street parking up the drive, which is steep on foot but no problem in a vehicle.

Casa Tulipano occupies the first floor of the building, fronted by twin balconies that offer uninterrupted views of the Gulf of Palermo. One is accessed from the bright living room, the second from one of the two double bedrooms.

Besides these, you will also be able to enjoy a bathroom with an efficient, modern shower, and a fully equipped kitchen. The living room contains two sofas, a smart TV and a dining table.

Up the mountain in the morning with an unforgettable sea view, lunch and siesta in your holiday letting, to the beach in the afternoon and to the new trendy pizzeria in town in the evening.

These routes are perfect for a bike – or rather for the right bike like the one in the photo above. Because you can even get up the mountain on one – and you don’t have to be an athlete to do so.
